Arrows appear numbered and unnumbered and are used to illustrate a movement. If there is no series of illustrations for step-bystep instructions then the different steps are numbered with normal numbers. Position lists Red circles containing a number are used in overview images where different components are pointed out. The number recurs in the position list featured in connection with the illustration that describes the item. Bulleted lists A bulleted list is used when there is a list of points in the owner's manual. Example: • Coolant • Engine oil right when a section continues on the following page. Recording data The driving and safety systems in the car use computers which check and share information with each other on the car's function. One or more of these computers may store information on the systems they check during normal driving, during the course of a collision or nearcollision. Stored information may be used by: • Volvo Car Corporation • Service or repair workshops • Police or other authorities • Other parties who claim legal entitlement for access to the information or someone who has permission from the owner to access the information.
